The Association “Baltic Coasts” was founded in 2007, bringing together qualified experts from different areas and creating a comprehensive, complementary and strong team. Emphasising both scientific research and practical action, the Association “Baltic Coasts” is focusing on an extensive variety of environmental issues. The main fields of our experience, gained within both national and local government, as well as the European Union-funded projects are related to:

• Ecosystems and services they provide;
• Economic evaluation of natural resources;
• Biological diversity;
• Climate and resource policies;
• Coastal erosion and integrated coastal planning;
• Support for policy-makers in decision-making and social dialogue on environmental issues;
